This past Monday, several Facebook employees partnered with Code2College to provide resume development training to Del Valle High School students.
Facebook volunteers and Code2College staff used Code2College professional development materials to help students identify and articulate their professional experience, academic projects and interests, all towards developing their first resumes. In only two hours, over 70 students were able to create hard- and/or soft-copies of their resumes.
Del Valle High School, one of Code2College’s newest school partners serves over 3,000 students, over 90% of whom are black or Hispanic, and nearly 80% who receive Free/Reduced Priced Lunch.
