Meet Kristy, a Code2College (C2C ’18) and Texas A&M University (TAMU ’23) alumna.
After her wrapping up her first year with Code2College (and junior year of high school), she had her first software development internship with RetailMeNot. Her hard work and dedication parlayed into acceptance to Texas A&M University.
While attending Texas A&M University as a Mathematics major, Kristy reflected on her college experience with enthusiasm and emphasized the importance of exploring careers over jobs in the vast world of STEM.
As an undergrad, she then received one of Code2College’s first internships, through our Vision2024 program, in Cybersecurity for H-E-B. Throughout the internship Kristy showcased her dedication and expertise, which then lead to her now being a full-time Cybersecurity Analyst for H-E-B.
Kristy’s advice to current Code2College students? Take time to explore future careers in STEM and remember the supportive Code2College community.
