We are incredibly proud to welcome Cirrus Logic onboard as a Gigabyte-Level Corporate Partner and our first school sponsor!
This year, Cirrus Logic (the largest publicly-traded company based in Austin, by revenue) has invested in our program by sponsoring our work at W. Charles Akins High School, our first school partner and an award-winning Austin ISD high school that serves a student body with a majority of its students who receive free/reduced price lunch and are from minority backgrounds.Â
In addition to sponsoring our programming, this year we’ve recruited seven Cirrus Logic volunteers (FIVE of them are Instructors) to work with our students this year. You’ll notice one of those Instructors – Ben Bright, a Software Engineer at Cirrus Logic – working with one of our Code2College students on developing their programming skills in Python.
