This week, Matt (Code2College Executive Director) joined a panel of operators in the Austin coding ecosystem to discuss opportunities for students to gain access to coding education at Capital Factory for the July EdTech Austin Meetup.
When asked why every child should learn how to code, Matt shared that “coding gives students the opportunity to fail in a low stakes environment. One of the most critical metacognitive skills they’re developing through coding is resilience and that’s been a key differentiator for the most successful students.”
