Polaris Foundation funds code2college software engineering curriculum

The Polaris Foundation, committed to a variety of Environmental, Sustainability and Governance (ESG) initiatives has donated $50,000 to fund the Code2College Software Engineering Leadership Program.

After five years of placing high school Tech talent into paid, software engineering internships at companies like VMware and Indeed, Code2College has developed a project-based curriculum focused on preparing its students to enter and excel in these place-based internships. And though the majority of these internships and interns have been based in Austin, Code2College has already started to place high school interns nationally.

Our team is excited about the opportunity to help our corporate partners build intentionally on their diversity and inclusion efforts. We’re grateful to the Polaris Foundation for their support, which will help us prepare and place hundreds more high school interns over the next several years and directly impact 500 students this year.
